Principal's Message
Education is unending life long process. It begins when one enters the stage of life until he / she has his exit. Formal education is given by educational institutions. The aims and objective of any educational institution must be to instill in the students genuine human and spiritual values, a genuine concern for the welfare of others and commitment to truth and justice and last but not least academic excellence and all round a\development of ones personality to meet situation in life.

St.Stephen’s School is trying its best to achieve this goal. To realize this w offer many co-curricular activities which help unfold hidden talents of the students. Writing stories, poems, short essays are one of the activities which help students to develop the thinking and look at the things happening in the world at different angles. We bring out our school magazine in your hands. It is the creative and hard work of our students and teachers.

Today many are asking the following questions, why there is so much hatred towards human to human? Why do people choose terrorism, etc,.? There could be many reasons for them.
It is high time for all of us to ponder over the present scenario. Many times I reflected upon arising situation in India. I have one or two questions to ask.
In India today do we have a have or persons who are role models to follow? Can we find an exemplary person in any field working as role model? We need sign boards on the roadside which indicate destinations. Similarly we need some role models in the society to follow them.
In this modern age people are facing or burning with various problems. Who are the cause for it? Human. Today we can’t find an exemplary person to follow. Whether it is in politics, field of education or at home. All are caught up with worldly pleasures. Mainly people are engrossed in money making. It is by hook or crook each one wants to become richer in wealth. Everyday we see and hear all type of corruptive practices that are going on in our own country. It is true those who are in position and having money always playing tactics which are harming the larger society. For example; In any public examinations we see how parents and teachers are misleading the students to mass coping. In this given situation children are learning all types of malpractices and demoralizing values.
It is the duty of particular government which is in the position. It is the duty of the elders who can give values to growing ones. It is the duty of the educational institutions who can shape the pupils.
Keeping all these in the mind the St. Stephen’s Higher Secondary School has been working to achieve some of these values. To shape the children lives and to give better human values the school has been serving in Dahod city. The staff and the management of the school has been providing and conducting various programmes, by which children are made aware and taught how to become better citizens of India. To achieve these all must have a commitment, vision and goal to march ahead.
